MDP Worldwide Announces Changes to the Board of Directors

MDP Worldwide Entertainment Inc. ("MDP" or the "Company") (Toronto Stock Exchange: MDP.A; MDP.B) reported today that following the recently announced closing of a $27 million equity investment by Limerick Assets Limited d/b/a Music Box Entertainment, Sammy Lee, Stewart Hall and Anthony Chiu will immediately join its Board of Directors. The three newly appointed directors are the designated representatives of Limerick Assets Limited. Irwin Friedman and Matthew Carson have resigned from the Board and have accepted to remain as ex-officio participants of the board to ensure continuity and a smooth and orderly transition. Mark Damon as Chairman & CEO and Louis Gascon will remain on the Board.

Mr. Lee is an international financier and an equity holder in Music Box Entertainment, Ltd., who has represented the Cheng family of Hong Kong in their global business for many years.

Mr. Hall is a prominent Southern California real estate developer who for the past 15 years has owned a construction company based in Los Angeles. He has developed several multi-million dollar projects in California and Nevada.

Mr. Chiu is a consulting architect with a practice based in Ontario, Canada encompassing landmark properties throughout Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
